Glite Vario 2.0 Pro+ is latest version of our popular Glite listening device. Several changes compare to the older model, we improved the signal of the unit and its sound. Now it has antenna on board, which makes it easier for placement. It is built to last and transfer sound at the best possible quality over 2G network. It has built-in battery which provides VOX function for approximately 20 days or more. That is dependent on the usage of the battery in active voice calling.
There are several versions with or without microphone, please see which one you find the most suitable for your operation. Glite Vario units need external battery in order to function, they are designed as devices which you combine with other of our accessories like 12V convertor to connect them to car o 220V convertor to connect them to varios appliances or units running on a same voltage.
For the models without the built-in battery, we supply batteries or you can purchase battery of different sizes. All Vario models are compatible with our other accessories, meaning you purchase 5V or 12V convertor in order to connect the units in various other scenarios.
Functions:

Password control function, allows you to communicate in a secured matter between you and the unit. That means that you can set a master password for example: 111 and each time you want to send a command to the unit, you start with that password. This function can also be turned off.

Voice detection Can be also adjusted as sometimes you might find yourself in a rather noisy environment and you want the sensitivity to be lower. On top of that, you can select by special commands a specified "dead time" for GSM network, it is a period of time when the unit will not be connected to GSM network but, it will not respond to your commands BUT it will stay in Voice or Movement activation mode.

Microphone The unit is equipped with MEMS microphone, you can adjust the strength of the microphone while you are calling the device. Its done by controlling DTMF tones.

Installation The device is plug and play, if you do not need any special functions you simply put in the simcard, wait for it to boot and call the device. There is a philips screwdriver needed for the correct opening and closing of the unit.

220V Connectible Using our proprietary 220V to 3.7V conversion kit, you will be able to mount this device onto any other electronic devices. We advise to do this when you have basic knowledge of working with electrical equipment.

Car Connectible Using our proprietary 12V to 3.7V conversion kit, you will be able to mount this device onto your car or your company car. This way you will be able to monitor employees. We advise you to do this when you have basic knowledge of working with electrical equipment.

Advanced commands The unit is programmed with several special functions which will prolong its battery life. Please be careful when activating such commands and read through our manual carefully.
Sound quality:*Special note: There is a possibility of customizing GLite PRO chip-set to other batteries and functions, if you have larger order we would be happy to discuss the options.
There is a limit to the sound quality transferred over GSM, one of those limits is rooted in the propensity of GSM networks (includes signal strength). This is a mono GSM device and so we have selected the microphone with the best SNR (signal to noise ratio) in order to maximize the quality at low consumption. We have achieved this by selecting HQ microphones of MEMS type. Please be careful when inserting a sim card for your first time and do not overly tighten the screws, as you might break the box.
Commands:
The Glite 2.0 Vario PRO uses a very simple communication command set, which is easy to master within a matter of minutes. You can also use in-call commands in order to change the settings of the microphone etc. We advise you to read the manual carefully, in order to grasp the full functionality of GLite PRO series devices.
Advanced commands:
Glite series also features advanced commands, which will allow you to maximize the battery life and control detectability of the devices. They have to be set-up accoding to our manual through series of SMS commands.
