Secutron gHost-C1800 4G LTE Audio Recorder with FTP Upload is a professional audio recording solution designed for security resellers, installers, and monitoring applications requiring remote operation and autonomous recording. Using an integrated 4G LTE module, the device can operate independently of local WiFi networks and automatically transfer recorded audio files to an FTP server.

The recorder supports continuous and VOX sound-activated recording, scheduled recording and FTP upload, remote configuration via SMS commands, and an advanced STEALTH low-power mode. A professional Knowles microphone with integrated preamplifier provides high-quality audio capture, while the 1,800 mAh battery supports up to 60 hours of recording.

How It Works

Insert a compatible SIM card with an active mobile data service and configure the recorder using SMS commands. Thanks to its integrated 4G LTE module, the gHost-C1800 does not require connection to a local WiFi network. Audio can be recorded continuously or automatically when sound is detected using the adjustable VOX function.

Up to three recording schedules per day can be configured, allowing different recording modes to operate during selected periods. The schedules may also overlap, providing flexible control over recording activity throughout the day.

Recorded files are stored on the memory card and automatically named according to the date and time of recording. Depending on the selected configuration, files can either be uploaded to the FTP server immediately after recording or stored locally and transferred during predefined upload periods.

When STEALTH mode is enabled, unnecessary 4G/GSM communication is disabled outside configured operating windows. The device activates mobile communication only when required by the configured schedule, FTP transfer, or communication settings, significantly reducing standby power consumption.

Major operating parameters can be adjusted remotely via SMS, including recording mode, VOX sensitivity, recording duration, microphone gain, recording schedules, and FTP upload settings. When configured accordingly, the recorder also supports real-time telephone audio monitoring and automatic calling after sound detection.
